Difficulty & Conditions Trekking
- Trekking becomes quite challenging, from the crater rim to summit. Steep, rocky, sometimes sandy/loose soil or ash. Physical fitness matters.
- Temperatures vary a lot:
- Daytime (lower elevations) ~ 15-25 °C
- At higher camps/rims/summit → near 0-5 °C, at night.
