Who is the founder of Wae Rebo village
The founder of Wae Rebo Village is a man named Empu Maro. He built the village 100 years ago and now reaching the 18th generation descendants. One of the unique and characteristic things of Wae Rebo is the tall, conical Mbaru Niang traditional house covered in palm grass from the roof to the ground.

Day 01. Labuhan Bajo, Denge Village, Wae Rebo village (lunch and dinner)
- Start the overland trip at 7.00 am Local time.
- Drive from Labuan Bajo to Denge Village for around 4- 5 hours.
- Trekking will take around 2-3 hours, depending on body endurance from Denge to the top of Wae rebo Village.
- Highly recommended that the participants be in good physical condition.
- Welcoming ceremony in the chief’s house.
- Continued by seeing and experiencing the local community’s everyday life.
- Dinner and stay at Mbaru Niang (Wae rebo traditional circular cone-shaped houses with unique architecture).
Day 02. Wae Rebo village–Labuhan Bajo (breakfast and lunch)

- Trekking down from Wae rebo to Denge continued with Lunch
