Itinerary: Mount Rinjani Trekking 4 Days

Day 01. Hotel Transfer to Sembalun (Breakfast Box, Lunch and Dinner): walk 7 hours and a distance of 10 km

  • Pick up at the hotel at 5.00 am, transfer to Sembalun.  Registration at Rinjani Information Center (RIC) 1051m
  • 09.00 Start the trek to POS 1 (Pos Pemantauan 1.300 M). 2-hour walk; take a rest of 10 minutes at POS 1.
  • Walk to POS 2 for 1 hour (Pos Tengengean, 1,500 m), take a rest for 10 minutes,
  • Continue to POS 3 (Pada Balong, 1,800 m), a 1-hour walk. Lunch at POS 3, and we will rest for 2 hours.
  • Continue walking up 3 hours to Crater Rim (Plawangan Sembalun, 2,639 m).
  • Dinner and overnight at Crater Rim Sembalun; enjoy sunset and sunrise the next day.

Day 02. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner at the Mountain (walk 9 hours and a distance of 8.5 km)

  • Wake up at 02.30 Am, have a light breakfast, and leave at 3.00 am
  • Heading to Summit Rinjani (3,726), walking time is approximately 3 hours and 20 minutes.
  • From the summit, you can see Lombok Island, Bali, Sumbawa, and Segara Anak Lake.
  • Back to camp to get breakfast at Crater Rim Sembalun.
  • Walk down to Segara Anak Lake and Hot Spring Water for 3 hours.
  • Lunch at Lake Segara Anak hot springs, just 100 meters from the Lake Segara anak
  • Camping at Segara Anak Lake, enjoy the lake and its surroundings.
  • Dinner and sleep at Segara Anak

Activities Day 03: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner at the Mountain (walk 4 hours and distance 2.5 km)

  • Segara Anak Lake, a new baby volcano, and having breakfast at Segara Anak Lake.
  • Spend more time enjoying the lake and hot spring water.
  • After lunch, journey to Goa Susu. Journey down the river and uphill to Plawangan Senaru by a 3–4 hour walk.
  • Camping at Senaru Crater Rim and enjoying your dinner here

Day 04. Breakfast, and Lunch at the mountain (walk Down 6 hours and distance 9.5 km)

  • After breakfast and enjoying the sunrise, prepare to walk down to Senaru
  • Lunch is on the way between POS 2 and POS EXTRA.
  • Arrive at Senaru Rinjani Trekking Centre around 01.00 pm.
  • Prepare yourself for transfer to Sengigi, Mataram, or Bangsal
