Itinerary: Mount Rinjani 2D1N Trek 

Day 1: Sembalun Village – Sembalun Crater Rim (2,639 m)

  • 06:00 AM: Pick-up at hitel Senaru or Sembalun, and transfer to the Rinjani Trekking Center for registration and briefing.
  • 08:00: Start trekking from Sembalun Gate (1,156 m).
  • 10:00: Arrive at Pos 1 (Pemantauan) and take a short break.
  • 11:30 Continue trekking to Pos 2 (Tengengean) for rest and refreshments.
  • 13:00: Lunch at Pos 2 or Pos 3, prepared by the trekking team.
  • 14:00 Continue the hike through the open savanna towards Pos 3 (Pada Balong).
  • 15:00 Begin the final ascent to the Sembalun Crater Rim.
  • 17:00 – 18:00 Arrive at Sembalun Crater Rim (2,639 m). Enjoy breathtaking views of: Segara Anak Lake, The volcanic cone of Barujari , Mount Rinjani Summit, Stunning sunset over Lombok Island
  • 19:00 Dinner at the campsite.
  • 20:00 Free time, stargazing, and overnight camping at the crater rim.

Day 2: Crater Rim Sembalun – Sembalun Village

  • 05:30 Wake up and enjoy the sunrise from the crater rim.
  • 06:30 Breakfast with panoramic views of the lake and surrounding mountains.
  • 08:00 Begin descent back to Sembalun Village via the same route.
  • 11:00 Arrive at Pos 2 and stop for lunch.
  • 13:00 Continue descending through the savanna.
  • 15:00 – 16:00 Arrive at Sembalun Gate and complete the trek.
  • 16:00 Transfer to your hotel or next destination.
