Overview: Mount Rinjani Trekking 6 Days
- Pass the grand tropical forest (big trees and local strawberries); shadow trails
- Pass the famous waterfall (Penimbungan waterfall).

Itinerary: Mount Rinjani 6-Day Trek
Day 01. Airport or hotel transfer to Sembalun overnight (Lunch and dinner at Sembalun)
- Transfer to sembalun, Lunch will be provided in a small restaurant at Sembalun or in a lunch box.
- Afternoon short hike around sembalun, see beautiful rice field and views of mount Rinjani
Day 02. Hotel – Sembalun Lawang – Crater Rim (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner): walk 7 hours and a distance of 10 km
- 08.00 Registration at Rinjani Information Center (RIC) 1051m
- 09.00 Start the trek to POS 1 (Pos Pemantauan 1.300 M). 2-hour walk; take a rest of 10 minutes at POS 1.
- Walk to POS 2 for 1 hour (Pos Tengengean 1.500 m), and take a 10-minute rest.
- Continue to POS 3 (Pada Balong 1.800 m), a 1-hour walk. Lunch at POS 3 and take a rest for 2 hours.
- Continue Heading up 3 hours to Crater Rim (Plawangan Sembalun 2,639 m).
- Dinner and overnight at Crater Rim Sembalun; enjoy sunset and sunrise for the next day.
Day 03. Plawangan Sembalun – Summit – Segara anak Lake (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner): walk 7-9 hours and a distance of 10 km
- Wake up at 02.30 Am, and breakfast
- 03.00 am Heading Summit Rinjani (3,726), walking time approximately 3 hours and 20 minutes
- From summit you can see all of Lombok island, Bali, Sumbawa and Segara Anak Lake
- Back to camp to get breakfast
- Walk down to Segara Anak Lake and Hot Spring water for 3 hours
- Lunch will be provided by the Lake Segara Anak, hot spring; just walk 100m from Lake Segara Anak
- Camping at Segara Anak Lake, enjoy the lake and its surroundings.
- Dinner and sleep at Segara Anak Lake
Day 04: Segara anak – Plawangan Senaru (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner): walk 4-5 hours and a distance of 2.5 km
- 08.00 Enjoy the beauty of Segara Anak Lake and the new baby volcano, and have breakfast at Segara Anak Lake.
- Spend more time to enjoy the lake and hot spring water
- After lunch, walk to Goa Susu and to Plawangan Senaru by a 3–4 hour walk.
- Need to be careful of the trail.
- Camp at Plawangan Senaru and enjoy your dinner here.
Day 05. Plawangan Senaru – Senaru Village (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner): walk down 5-6 hours and a distance of 9.5 km
- 07.00 After breakfast and enjoying the sunrise, prepare to walk down to Senaru village
- Lunch is on the way between POS 2 and POS EXTRA.
- Arrive at Senaru Rinjani Trekking Center around 13.00 PM.
- Check in at hotel Senaru and dinner
Day 06: Breakfast and lunch at Senaru.
- After breakfast at hotel, short hike to the Sendang Gila and Tiu waterfalls
- Afternoon transfer to the next destination and end of program.
