- Footwear: Wear water shoes or sturdy sandals with grip. The walk into Rangko Cave is slippery, and Batu Cermin has narrow, rocky passages.
- Swimwear: Wear your swimsuit under your clothes. There are no proper changing rooms at Rangko Cave—most people just use a sarong or change behind a rock.
- Protection: Bring a dry bag for your phone/camera, as you’ll be taking a small wooden boat to Rangko.
- Watch Your Head: You will receive a helmet at Batu Cermin. Wear it. Some passages are very low, and the limestone is sharp.
- Bug Spray: The walk to Batu Cermin and the shaded areas near the caves can be buggy.
